Explore the importance and meaning of colour and the use of light in a painting. You can discuss all aspects with the artist, decide what you want to achieve, outline your goals and work together to reach or surpass your targets.

Painting and drawing after a busy day.

With hectic lifestyles some people like to unwind and find themselves again, like minded painters can come together in a beautiful location to relax, hone drawing skills, paint with preferred mediums and get in touch with their creative side. Painting is very much down to the individual and how they see the world, everybodies preference is different, work together with the Artist to find your natural ability and your own style.

Over two or three sessions you can create a painting and series of sketches that will give you a sense of who you are and something that you will be happy to show to friends and might like on the walls of your apartment. Two hours after work - with lighter evenings its the perfect time to be painting outside, we call it the golden hour where the suns powerful light is subdued by the atmosphere and casts a beautiful ochre hue across the world. The perfect time to paint.

Painting Courses.

Painting for the day when the sun's shinning, there is nothing better! Sat looking at an impressive view with pencil or paint brush in hand, life is perfect.

As an Artist I have produced a schedule as an outline of how the week could progress. Open to clients needs, we would run through the week and what was wanted to be achieve and discussed.

A bespoke course is then created that covered all their criteria for the week.

Studio Painting.

If you have a place at home you like to paint or set up and large canvas Richard is happy to visit you and help with the creation of large scale works, these paintings can take a long time to create and sometimes you can loose inspiration, become stuck and need someone to highlight a fresh way of looking at the canvas. See the image with a fresh eye, discuss the work and together find the way forward.

Richard's reasons.

"As a professional artist and have been very lucky with my work, having the opportunity to travel, painting and exhibiting along the way is a gift. I have chosen to run these sessions to share my love for art, in todays world I believe that people focus to much on certain areas, business, celebrity, status and materialism which are all very important but can divert from one's self. I would like to highlight the beauty that surrounds us and we sometimes miss, life is full of distraction and its easy to loose sight of who you are and personal development. Everyone has an artistic side and I feel strongly that it is just as important to bring out this aspect of yourself in your everyday life."

These sessions are open to everyone whatever your level of ability, I keep the numbers to a small number of students per session so I can give personal attention helping each step of the way.
